Station 8 crews responded to the former Christown Mall where a new theater complex is being constructed. On arrival, they found an adult male that had fallen into a trench and become trapped. Despite their best efforts, he succumbed to the massive weight of the dirt and was pronounced deceased on scene.  Crews worked for several hours to free him.
